JobChatter was founded in 2024 by Josh Hesketh, who recognized a common problem: local service businesses were spending too much time on admin and not enough time doing what they do best.
The idea for JobChatter began in March 2024, building on previous experience developing AI systems for other applications. After seeing how much time small business owners spent fielding common questions that were specific to their business, Josh realized there was an opportunity to help them focus more on their craft.
Today, JobChatter is focused on serving local businesses across the UK, helping them save valuable time on customer communication so they can focus on what they do best.

Josh is an experienced software engineer who has worked at companies including CDL Ltd, THG, and Moneysupermarket. His background includes extensive backend development, with a highlight being his work at THG where he architected and led the development of their WMS for a new bespoke warehouse.
Based in the North West of England, Josh is passionate about helping small businesses succeed by giving them back the time they need to focus on their craft.
